Shelf Companies
Setting-up a new company in Germany may take several months. The process starts with a notary appointment, includes a bank account opening, continues with a share capital payment and ends with the commercial register entry. Unfortunately, none of these steps are as straightforward as they may sound.
Quickstart your business with Greenfields
To avoid the bureaucratic manoeuvring and start immediately with your business, Greenfields offers its clients shelf companies, also called ShelfCos (“Vorratsgesellschaften”). They are fully registered. We just need to arrange a notary appointment to get you started.
German Limited (GmbH)
The preferred company type of our clients is the GmbH (“Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung”), a company with limited liability incorporated in accordance with German law.
The GmbH can be acquired immediately after the transfer of the purchase price. It comes with a bank account holding the fully paid-up share capital of EUR 25,000 and includes all formation costs.

Custom Solutions
In addition to a sole GmbH, we happily create entire holding structures. We can incorporate existing ShelfCos or set up completely new companies in accordance with your individual requirements.
We are able to set-up any legally available requirement with different company types (GmbH & Co. KG, SE, AG etc.), as we maintain well-established relationships with various notaries and attorneys, so that the incorporation is as quick and cost-efficient as possible.
