Head of Accounting & Tax (f/m/d)

Key responsibilities

As a Manager, you’ll be a key player in shaping our accounting services, mentoring junior colleagues, and growing into a leadership role by completing the following tasks:

  • Set up and supervise accounting operations for international clients
  • Support the preparation and review of annual financial statements, VAT & tax filings
  • Be the key contact for auditors, tax advisors & regulators
  • Improve internal processes and digitize workflows
  • Ensure client satisfaction and tax compliance

Your profile

  • A degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related field
  • Tax Adviser (Steuerberater) or certified Group/Balance Sheet Accountant (Konzern- bzw. Bilanzbuchhalter) or equivalent is a strong advantage
  • Leadership experience in tax consulting, accounting firms or corporates
  • Expert knowledge of DATEV, particularly Kanzlei-Rechnungswesen and Unternehmen online
  • Strong communication skills in German & English
  • A pragmatic, entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset
